# Korea: Nasa Pagtangkilik ng Nagkakaisang Bansa! (Korea: Under the Protection of the United Nations!) (Tagalog poster distributed in the Philippines or Asia)

A Tagalog-language sheet on the Korean War. A map of Korea carries a red octopus labelled 'Communist oppression' gripping the north, a United Nations sword and emblem, and a photograph of captured prisoners beside a ten-point account of the UN response. The tell is transfer, the octopus attaching a stigma image to one side, together with card-stacking: the account lists UN actions and omits any other party's view.

2. Immediately the United Nations Security Council called for an immediate halt to the fighting because it is a threat to world peace.
3. The Communists disregarded the Security Council's call and instead continued the violent attack, and boasted that they would soon take the free Republic.
4. Therefore the Security Council asked the members of the United Nations for help in the free Republic's fight against the Communist aggression.
5. The Republic of Korea was supported by 53 of the 59 members of the United Nations in defending the free nation against aggression and in maintaining world peace.
6. The United Nations forces were quickly prepared and brought together within only 12 weeks and the Communist advance was halted.
7. At first the Communists drove back the forces of the Republic of Korea and the first United Nations forces to the southern tip of the Republic of Korea. They held there in a small stronghold while the United Nations gathered strength.
8. The United Nations forces from all parts of the world were gathered and placed in readiness within only 12 weeks.
9. They landed at Inchon, on the West Coast, and quickly retook Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea. The result was that the Communist forces were trapped in the South.
10. The action taken by 53 of the 59 member nations of the United Nations, in joining at once to fight the Communist aggression and to stand for justice and law, gave great hope to the peoples of the world. They saw the power exercised by the United Nations!
