# La Vanguardia, front page (Barcelona, 11 July 1937): "Nuestro avance en los frentes del Centro"

Photo front page on the Brunete offensive: a group of officers watching the field, and below them tanks and infantry crossing open country, under the headline "Nuestro avance en los frentes del Centro". The caption says the Republic's forces continue their advance, "incontenibles", in all sectors, with Brunete followed by Quijorna and over two hundred prisoners taken. The tell: momentum words (unstoppable, all sectors) stand in for any map, casualty or objective.

Dateline, headline and photo caption read from the downsampled image; one phrase ('en todos los sectores') is slightly broken by scan noise but legible. Translation is literal and not checked by a fluent reader.
