# We Are United Nations: Unity Is Strength (Life wartime poster, part 12)

Blue wartime poster headed 'We are United Nations': six black-and-white portraits of soldiers labelled Free France, Poland, Yugoslavia, Rhodesia, Australia and Union of South Africa, beside a column of ten allied flags, with the line 'The fighting strength of the United Nations is no more than the combined efforts of the individual soldiers' and the slogan 'Unity is Strength'. The tell: six faces and ten flags stand in for the whole coalition, so each nation's symbols are lent to the 'United Nations' label (transfer).
