# Los Vuelos Geminis space poster (Spanish photo sheet distributed in Buenos Aires and Caracas)

A Spanish-language photo sheet titled 'Los Vuelos Geminis' on a blue field of white stars. Ten photographs and artist's drawings show a Gemini capsule on its Titan rocket, rendezvous and spacewalk drawings, astronaut training and a capsule recovery exercise off Bermuda, under a paragraph describing the programme as preparation for the Apollo Moon landing. The tell is transfer: the prestige of the U.S. space programme is attached to the sheet, which names no sponsor.

THE GEMINI FLIGHTS

The Gemini Project calls for 10 space flights during the two years before Project Apollo, a spacecraft with three crew members that will land on the Moon. On the Gemini flights with two crew members, the North American astronauts will practise leaving the spacecraft while it is in orbit and will test the effect of living in space for a period of up to two weeks. Starting with the sixth Gemini flight, a rocket loaded with fuel will first be placed in orbit. Afterwards the astronauts will approach the rocket, docking their spacecraft to it, and using the rocket's power to propel their craft.
