# Lubbers Don't Live! A boastful young salty was Seaman McBride

Navy training sheet in verse: a smoking sailor in a fur-collared coat walks the windward side of a storm-swept deck, then strolls past a rope and a DANGER sign into a wave. The verse closes with his effects being auctioned. The fear-appeal is delivered as comic doggerel aimed at sailors, with the red 'Lubbers Don't Live!' banner as the slogan.
