Amerikanische Truppen in Island !
DIE U.S.A.

American troops in Iceland!
THE U.S.A. COME EVER CLOSER TO THE WAR!

In a special message to Congress, President Roosevelt announced on 7 July that forces of the United States have landed in Iceland.

These forces will supplement and eventually replace the British troops that have been stationed in Iceland since May 1940 to protect this island from seizure by Germany.

President Roosevelt said: "The United States cannot permit Germany to acquire strategic outposts in the Atlantic that would be used as air and naval bases."

The American occupation of Iceland, the President explained, has the purpose of forestalling three dangers: first [illegible - fold] German threat to Greenland and the North American continent, second [illegible - fold] threat to shipping in the northern Atlantic; and third it is to forestall the German threat to the "steady flow of war material from the United States to Great Britain - a matter of far-reaching policy, clearly approved by Congress".

From bloodhound to lickspittle
Governor-General Dr. Frank in an appeal to the Poles on 29 June 1941:
"You Poles know the fate of your brothers on the other side of the Bug and San during the last two years. You are safe under the protection of the German army."
Gauleiter Greiser in an address at Wieluń, Poland, on 5 May 1941:
"Only the Germans will be the masters and lords. The Poles remain our serfs for all time."

THREE POWERS - ONE WAR AIM!

Churchill
When England stood alone against the Axis powers, Churchill gave speeches that were later echoed in the words of leading statesmen of other countries.

Roosevelt
When America finally recognised the danger threatening it from Germany, Roosevelt repeated Churchill's thoughts in other words.

Stalin
When the Soviet Union learned from Germany's invasion that there can be no peace with the Third Reich, Stalin came to the same conclusion.

"The cause of all peoples is our cause!"

14 July 1940: "This is not a war of chieftains or princes, of dynasties or national ambition - this is a war of peoples and of principles . . ."
9 November 1940: "Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Norway, Holland, Belgium, France, Greece - for all of them we struggle and fight; and our victory will bring liberation to all of them."

15 March 1941: "The world cannot use a nation that claims the right to march in goose-step over the bodies of other other peoples and races . . ."
15 March 1941: "The American people has demanded a policy of unlimited aid for Great Britain, for China and for all countries temporarily occupied by the aggressors."

2 July 1941: "This is no ordinary war. This is a war of all peoples who are fighting against enslavement by Hitler's fascist armies."
2 July 1941: "Our war for the freedom of the fatherland is merged with the struggle of the peoples of Europe and America for their independence and democratic freedom."

"The cause of the German people included [illegible - edge of page]"

20 August 1940: "The breaking of the Nazi power will bring to all peoples of Europe, Germans and Austrians included, immediately plenty, peace and freedom."
27 May 1941: "All peoples who are not conquered in spirit - even Italians and Germans - will prove to be strong forces in the destruction of the Nazi system."
2 July 1941: "We shall have in this war of liberation loyal allies in the peoples of Europe and America - the German people included."
