# Malaya Today, Picture Set D, no. 10: Uniforms of the Federation Regiment (English photo poster distributed in Malaya)

A studio photograph of three Federation Regiment soldiers standing in line against a plain wall, labelled left to right as walking-out dress, ceremonial No. 3 dress and battle order dress. The sheet makes no argument beyond display of the regiment's uniforms. The tell is transfer, used lightly: the orderly, uniformed presentation attaches the dignity of a national regiment to the soldiers shown.
