Malayan soldiers in white uniforms stand in formation on a parade ground, three regimental colours held upright among them. The caption says they are men of the Federation Regiment, the Malay Regiment and the Armoured Corps who went to England for the Coronation. The tell is transfer: association with the royal Coronation is used to confer prestige on the Federation's forces.
