# Mariquita, Legionaria: Muñecos recortables no. 69 (Mariquita, Legionnaire: Cut-Out Dolls no. 69)

A colour cut-out sheet for children: a smiling girl in Spanish Foreign Legion khaki, rifle at her side, holds by the hair the severed, dripping head of a dark-skinned child with rolling eyes and lolling tongue; a spare tunic, cap, a rolled banner and two more caricatured dark-skinned children (one weeping in a fez) complete the set. The tell is the grotesque caricature of the enemy and the packaging of his decapitation as a play accessory.
