# Markings of U.S. chemical munitions

War Department graphic training chart with five arrow-shaped rows, each pairing an icon (ambulance, weeping helmeted soldier, smoke cloud, burning building) with a category name and the colour-banded stencil mark for that munition. The technique is faint here: it is mostly a plain identification chart, with the category names (casualty, harassing) as the nearest euphemism.
