# McKinley Was Right (poster: 1896 poverty, 1900 prosperity)

Lithograph poster showing McKinley and a second man in front of a large flag. The left side is headed '1896 Poverty Depression' and shows idle factories; the right side is headed '1900 Prosperity' and shows smoking chimneys and a cheering crowd. A scroll held by McKinley reproduces the 'Real Issue' poster. The sheet pairs two years and two conditions as cause and effect, and ends on the slogan 'Prosperity at home, prestige abroad, sound money'. The Library of Congress catalogue notes that a different-slogan variant exists.
