# Facade of the Mostra della Rivoluzione Fascista, Palazzo delle Esposizioni (Rome, photographed 1937)

Black-and-white photograph of an exhibition hall dressed as a monumental gateway. A plain wall carries MOSTRA DELLA RIVOLUZIONE FASCISTA across the top; three dark arches sit between tall vertical slabs, with the single word DUCE in large letters at the centre between two tall flags. Relief panels at each end carry dates, 28 OTTOBRE 1922 on the left. The tell: the building is made a political monument whose only name is the leader's title.
