# NATO 8 Yaşında (NATO at 8 Years Old) (Turkish poster distributed in Turkey)

A dark blue poster marking NATO's eighth anniversary, 4 April 1949 to 4 April 1957. A white silhouette of a helmeted soldier with fixed bayonet stands before the NATO compass star, and a column of fifteen national flags runs down the right edge, beginning with Turkey's and the United States'. The tell is transfer: the soldier, the star set behind his head like a halo, and the member flags attach the alliance's symbols to the anniversary.
