# Nest eggs won't hatch unless you set on them! Hang on to your war bonds

Drawing of a brooding hen with chicks, in brown and yellow, under the headline Nest eggs won't hatch unless you set on them! and the line Hang on to your WAR BONDS. The barnyard idiom does the persuading, a folksy plain-folks register asking buyers to keep bonds rather than cash them; the technique is faint.
