# The News in Pictures poster, No. 1 (Arabic, Beirut)

A fold-out photo sheet of nine captioned news photographs about African and US relations in spring 1964: President Johnson with the King of Burundi, Africa Day at the New York World's Fair, Johnson with foreign students, Sierra Leone and Guinea officials, a Malawi labor minister, Algerian legislators with Eisenhower. The sheet presents official meetings and pavilion openings as news. The tell is card-stacking: only cordial diplomatic and fair events appear, and the captions quote Johnson on every nation's freedom to seek its own destiny.
