# The News in Pictures poster, No. 2 (Arabic, Beirut)

A fold-out photo sheet of six captioned news photographs about African and US relations: an Ethiopian painting of John F. Kennedy's life for the Kennedy Library, a Nigerian minister laying a wreath at Kennedy's grave, a Nigeria Airways inaugural flight, Mali women leaders in Washington, the privately financed hospital ship HOPE sailing for Guinea, and African officials discussing the Congo. The tell is card-stacking: friendly exchanges and goodwill gestures are selected as the news, and the Kennedy images transfer his prestige to the US-African link.
