# News in Pictures poster, No. 8 (Arabic, Beirut)

An Arabic fold-out photo sheet headed 'News in Pictures', with a large United Nations photograph of African delegates and the Upper Volta president, plus pictures of a White House reception, an African music and dance festival and a Liberian trainee at a U.S. air traffic tower. It presents US-African contact as the news of the week. The tell is card-stacking: only friendly visits and exchanges are chosen, and the White House and UN settings transfer their standing to the stories.
