# No Submarines Without Sulphuric Acid

A submarine surfaces in heavy seas under a stylised sky, beneath the slogan 'No submarines without sulphuric acid'. The tell is the transfer of the navy's prestige onto an industrial chemical: a warship image is attached to the product, so that sulphuric acid supply reads as a condition of naval strength.
