# They're the reason we're in Vietnam

A poster headed "They're the reason we're in Vietnam" shows one photograph: a small barefoot child in sandals and a patterned shirt stands between the legs and boots of US soldiers, while a second child waits in the background. One image of a child stands in for the whole case for the war. The poster gives no place, date, numbers or other reason.
