# Our nation's choice, Benjamin Harrison, Levi P. Morton

Broadside with oval portraits of Harrison and Morton framed by allegorical women, biographies in side columns, the Republican platform adopted at Chicago, and figures of Lincoln and Grant with printed mottoes. The Lincoln and Grant figures and the "Loyalty to the Union" badge borrow their prestige for the ticket (transfer), the quoted mottoes put words to named men (testimonial), and the heading "No competition with foreign pauper labor" attaches a label to foreign workers (name-calling).
