# Our pledge to keep prices down

Store-window pledge card with a clasped-hands emblem reading 'Grocer-Consumer Anti-Inflation Campaign, Pledged to Keep Prices Down', and four numbered promises by a shop: charge only ceiling prices or less, post price lists, welcome questions, and treat price restraint as 'our patriotic duty'. The appeal to patriotic duty is attached to a plain commercial commitment.
