# "Femmes ! ... exigez la paix immédiate au Maroc" (PCF sticker, Rif war, 1925)

A small green gummed sticker (papillon) in plain black type: 'The war of 1914-1918 killed the fathers. That of 1925 in Morocco kills the sons.' Below, in bold: 'WOMEN! With the Communist Party, demand immediate peace in Morocco.' The tell is the staged harm: the loss of a generation in the Great War is projected onto the sons of the women addressed, and the party is offered as the vehicle for the demand, with no casualty figures or alternatives given.
