# Photos d'Actualité poster, No. 5 (French, Beirut)

A French fold-out photo sheet headed 'Photos d'Actualité' with six captioned news photographs: U.S. wheat flown to famine areas of Somalia, a Nigerian Ibo dictionary project, American students singing with Nigerian children, a White House party for orphans, African ambassadors at the UN and students rebuilding a burned Mississippi church. The tell is card-stacking: aid and goodwill stories are chosen as the news, with the White House setting adding presidential standing.
