M. Maurice Yaméogo, Président de la République de la Haute-Volta est reçu au siège des Nations Unies à New York. Invité à déjeuner par M. U. Thant, secrétaire général de l'O.N.U., il a aussi visité la célèbre bâtisse. Le président Yaméogo et ses compagnons applaudirent (ci-dessus) quand l'ambassadeur de la Haute-Volta à l'O.N.U. eut occupé son siège au sein de l'Assemblée Générale.
