# Pictures in the News poster, No. 5 (English, Beirut)

An English fold-out photo sheet with six captioned news photographs: U.S. grain airlifted to famine areas of Somalia, a Nigerian Ibo dictionary project, American students singing with Nigerian children, a White House party for orphans, African ambassadors at the UN and students rebuilding a Mississippi church burned after a civil rights rally. The tell is card-stacking: the stories are selected as goodwill and aid, and the White House setting transfers presidential standing to them.
