# Platforms illustrated

Louis Prang & Co. (Boston) two-panel lithograph hostile to McClellan. 'Baltimore': Liberty hands Lincoln his duty beside Sumner, Grant and Farragut. 'Chicago': Vallandigham thrusts a small McClellan onto a cheese-like platform held up by snakes, among Seymour, Wood, a London Times-reading John Bull, and bystanders, one voicing a racial slur.
