# Plow around to prevent woods fires. See your fire warden before burning

Woods-fire prevention sheet: in a cleared field a man ploughs a ring of bare earth around brush piles with a horse, while another watches a pile burn with a tall column of black smoke, buckets and tools beside him. The red banner repeats the instruction. The technique is plain-folks, ordinary farm workers modelling the advised practice.
