# "The Feminine of Jekyll and Hyde" (Puck, 1913)

Colour centrefold: a classically draped woman raises a huge yellow banner reading 'Woman Suffrage' while, directly below her, a wild-eyed, ragged, Medusa-haired hag rushes forward with a lit torch and a bomb, a sash across her body and smoke trailing from the torch. The tell is the Jekyll-and-Hyde pairing: one cause is given two bodies, and the loaded figure carries the label 'Militant Lawlessness' and 'Arson'.
