# President Putin at a cabinet meeting praising the Chechen parliamentary election (Moscow, 28 November 2005)

Vladimir Putin sits at the head of a long cabinet table between a Russian tricolour and the state standard, with ministers on either side. The tell is the head of state, in the accompanying Kremlin text, certifying the 27 November vote as proof that the Chechen people 'have shown that no one and nothing can frighten them'.
