# Resolution (Khmer Buddhists of Vinh Binh Denounce the Viet Cong)

A bilingual Vietnamese and Khmer poster (code SP-2361) reports a September 1967 rally of over 1,000 Khmer-origin monks and lay Buddhists at a pagoda in Vinh Binh province against the Viet Cong killing of one monk and kidnapping of another in August 1967. Two photographs of marching monks flank facsimiles of a Khmer-language and a Vietnamese-language petition with stamped seals and signatures. The petition is reproduced as an exhibit and the voice is that of Khmer Buddhist clergy, the tell of testimonial and an appeal to numbers.
