# Safeguarding the Cause of Freedom poster, No. 355 (Saigon)

A green Vietnamese-language photo poster headed 'Defend the free cause'. National flags and photographs show aid to South Vietnam from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand and South Korea (aircraft and personnel, medical teams, cement, troops). The text says many countries have answered the government's 15 July 1964 appeal. The tell is bandwagon: the list of countries is offered to show the cause is widely shared, while only support is shown.
