# Sept. 1939 - Sept. 1942: Facts Emphasize Britain's Unflinching Purpose After 3 Hard Years of War

A tall pictogram sheet marks three years of war with four panels: two in three Britons mobilised, ammunition output rising from 5,000 to over 55,000 tons a week, land under the plough, and RAF heavy bombers from 100 to 1,000. The tell is card-stacking, with only rising figures shown and no losses or shortfalls, and 'unflinching purpose' is a virtue phrase with no metric.
