# Nêu cao ý chí bất khuất (Uphold the Unyielding Will), Sacred Sword of the Patriots League leaflet with Le Loi

Leaflet in Vietnamese with a drawn portrait of an armed man in a headband and armour, mountains and horsemen behind him; the label inside the drawing names him Le Loi. The slogan below calls on readers to uphold the unyielding will of the Lac-Hong lineage in the work of destroying communism and saving the nation. The tell: the 15th-century hero who drove out Ming China is borrowed to endorse an anti-communist appeal issued under an invented league's name.

## Text on the object

Original (Vietnamese) · read from the image, not independently checked

```
NÊU CAO Ý CHÍ BẤT KHUẤT CỦA GIỐNG GIÒNG LẠC-HỒNG
TRONG CÔNG TÁC DIỆT CỘNG CỨU NƯỚC.
[label inside drawing, partly illegible: ... LÊ LỢI]
[small print at right: N-221(?)]
```

English translation (machine translation by Claude, not verified by a fluent reader)

```
UPHOLD THE UNYIELDING WILL OF THE LAC-HONG LINEAGE
IN THE WORK OF DESTROYING COMMUNISM AND SAVING THE NATION.
[label inside drawing, partly illegible: ... LE LOI]
[small print at right: N-221(?)]
```

'Giống giòng' (race, lineage) read from a 250 px image; the second word is uncertain. The label and the serial mark are small and only partly legible. 'Lạc-Hồng' is a traditional name for the Vietnamese people's mythic descent. Translation is FRAME's own literal rendering, machine-assisted and not verified by a fluent reader.
