# From 1965 to 1971 the Democrats and the Republicans dropped more than 6 million tons of bombs

Red-bordered electoral poster with a photograph of a large smoke column over a landscape and the text "From 1965 to 1971 the Democrats and Republicans dropped more than 6 million tons of bombs on the people of Vietnam. They're still doing it in 1972." Below: "Bring the troops home now / Stop the bombing. Vote Socialist Workers: Jenness for President, Pulley for Vice-President." The tell is the single statistic attributed to both major parties with no source or breakdown, used to support a vote appeal.
