Close crowd shot at a street rally: a framed colour portrait of a man in a dark suit and tie is held up beside red-white-black Syrian flags with two green stars, a smaller framed portrait of two bearded, turbaned clerics, and a large banner printed with a man in sunglasses and uniform. The tells are leader portraits carried as the rally's main props, and a second leader pairing, the clerics' portrait, placed beside them to signal an alliance.
