# These are the American Republics - Members of the United Nations

A large sheet of captioned photographs of Latin American and Caribbean places and work surrounds a central text block titled 'these are AMERICAN REPUBLICS' under the banner 'MEMBERS OF THE UNITED NATIONS'. The text lists which republics had joined the Allied side and what they supplied (strategic materials, bases, convoy support), and the caption selection shows agriculture and landmarks only. The tell is card-stacking: contributions to the war are listed and war declarations are summarised, but no figures, dates or costs are given.
