# Arturo Toscanini, 1867-1957: Toscanini Memorial Concert (English poster distributed in Beirut)

A memorial-concert poster for conductor Arturo Toscanini (1867-1957), with a large photograph of him conducting. The A.U.B. Music Club presents a free event on Friday, 1 February at West Hall, with a talk by Anis Fuleihan, recordings and film of Toscanini conducting Schubert, Verdi and Beethoven, and an exhibit. The tell is transfer: the conductor's reputation is attached to the event and, by sponsorship of the materials, to the American recordings and orchestra shown.
