Organizations Abroad
NC210840 Tripoli Domestic Service in Arabic 0500 GMT 21 Aug 81
[Text] The Libyan Arab People's and brotherhood bureaus in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Arab homeland have carried out intensive activity to place the clear facts, which condemn the United States and its flagrant aggression against the Libyan people, before world public opinion. International newsmen, news agency and newspaper correspondents, as well as radio and television stations, have been supplied with details of the U.S. plot against the Jamahiriyah. All the evidence and arguments that expose the dimensions of the U.S. aggression have been placed before them.
The people's and brotherhood bureaus issued press statements condemning the U.S. aggression and called on all the freedom-fighting forces to condemn this aggression and to move resolutely against the first enemy of the peoples and the leader of terrorism, terrorist Ronald Reagan.
The people's and brotherhood bureaus also held press conferences and meetings to brief the hundreds of newsmen on the reality and nature of the aggressive aims of the U.S. Government against the Great 1 September Revolution.
As part of the intensive activity dictated by the revolutionary duty, the student forces and revolutioanry committees in Europe, Africa and Asia launched campaigns to expose and condemn the U.S. position and to inform the popular circles, organizations and political parties and universities of the hostile escalation by the U.S. administration and to enlighten them with the facts exposing the aggressive U.S. intentions.
Masses' Rallies
LD210236 Tripoli Voice of Arab Homeland in Arabic 0115 GMT 21 Aug 81
[Text] The popular masses at Al-Shati', (Ghiryan), Zanzur and (Meallatah) the day before yesterday, came out in big demonstrations of anger and denunciation against two Libyan planes in Libyan Arab airspace and territorial waters. [sentence as heard] In their chants the masses affirmed their determination to challenge all those who are tempted to detract from the freedom and security of the Libyan Arab people and their achievements through the Great 1 September Revolution. They expressed their readiness to respond to the call for death in defense of the Great 1 September Revolution at any time and their readiness also to stand firmly in the face of plots and provocations hatched by American imperialism and its agents in Egypt and Sudan.
The masses participating in the demonstrations issued statements affirming the Libyan Arab people's determination to deter the aggressors and sacrifice their lives for the sake of their freedom and authority. They also denounced the American aggression by the U.S. 6th Fleet against the two Libyan planes in Libyan Arab airspace and territorial waters, affirming that this aggression exposes the true aggressive intentions of American imperialism and the truth about American terrorism.
