# Always Stop Slowly

A red panel shows a worn tyre with an arrow to a torn patch, labelled 'Habitual fierce braking causes excessive wear in one spot', beside the slogan 'Always stop slowly - jamming on the brakes tears rubber off the treads'. It is a driver instruction on conserving rubber. The closest fit is fear-appeal, a staged harm to the tyre with a single prescribed remedy; no enemy or war claim is made on the sheet.
