# Beware of the Hun in the Sun

A painted view from a bomber's wing shows a twin-engined German fighter with a swastika diving out of the sun-glare at British aircraft. The caption tells aircrew to watch for surprise attacks from the sun; the label 'Hun' is the name-calling tell, applied to the enemy as a whole.

```
BEWARE of the HUN in the SUN
In a surprise attack the enemy may "come out of the sun" where it is difficult to see him. Remember to look for this especially when about to engage another aircraft that may prove to be a decoy.
