# Facts about Britain at War

A red-bordered chart sheet under two Union Jacks sets out thirteen panels of wartime figures, from arms output and women mobilised to egg imports and taxation, each in pictograms. The tell for card-stacking is the selection of favourable comparisons with no denominators or counter-figures, as in 'Twice Germany's plane output per man', and for transfer the chart format and the quoted ministers lend official weight.
