A destroyer leads a line of British warships through rough, spray-whipped water under a dark sky; the printed line says the navy sweeps the seas day and night looking for the enemy. This is a captioned photograph sheet; the closest fit is card-stacking, since a single image of readiness and vigilance stands for the whole naval war, without losses or limits.
