# No Job too Tough for Britain's Women

A colour photograph shows two women in work clothes beside a large locomotive wheel, with a Union Jack 'For Freedom' emblem and a text block. The tell is the unsourced comparative claims: seven million women 'all out' on war jobs, work done 'better than the men', and Britain 'far ahead of Germany in war output per head', given with no source or baseline.

```
NO JOB TOO TOUGH
FOR BRITAIN'S WOMEN
SEVEN MILLION WOMEN IN BRITAIN are working "all out" on direct war jobs, releasing men for the fighting forces, keeping the production of food, guns, planes and tanks at peak. These women tackle cheerfully every kind of job—the tough, dirty and dangerous ones and fine, skilled work that they quite often do better than the men. Britain is far ahead of Germany in war output per head of population — thanks very largely to the magnificent spirit of Britain's women-of-war.
