# Notice: Waste Rubber Must Not Be Destroyed, Thrown Away or Mixed With Refuse

A text-only legal notice under the royal arms cites Salvage of Waste Materials Order No. 4 of 7 September 1942 and warns that anyone disregarding it is liable to prosecution. The royal arms lend state authority to the order (transfer); the small print states the reason as a serious shortage of rubber.
