# Women of the Forces: War Service Grants and Emergency Grants

Three stylised heads in naval, ATS and RAF women's service caps sit under the royal arms and the words 'Issued by the Ministry of Pensions'. The text tells servicewomen they may apply for War Service Grants and Emergency Grants; the arms and badges lend official standing to the notice, a transfer of state authority onto the offer.
