# Union and liberty! And union and slavery!

A wood-engraving by Martin W. Siebert attacking the Democratic platform's opposition to emancipation. The print frames the election as a choice between union with freedom or union with slavery, attacking McClellan Democrats as willing to preserve slavery to restore the Union.
