# "They Also Serve!" No. II

Four women walk side by side in front of a large US flag, each with a printed label on her clothing: laundry worker, railroad worker, farm worker, other essential civilian workers. The caption says they also serve. The tell is transfer (the flag lends national standing to civilian jobs) together with a virtue phrase, 'They Also Serve', that equates civilian work with service.
