# USIS radio poster, 'America Today' (今日美國) (Chinese-language poster distributed in Taiwan)

A red, blue and cream sheet showing two radio towers sending out signals above a microphone marked USIS. The Chinese text announces a programme titled 'America Today', relayed by the Taiwan Broadcasting Station nightly from 7:30 to 8:00, in two parts on alternate days. It is chiefly a schedule notice; the only persuasive device is transfer, the USIS-marked microphone and towers lending the programme institutional authority.
