# Grand Democratic Free Soil Banner (Currier, Van Buren and Adams), 1848

Black-and-white banner print: roundel portraits of Van Buren and Adams below an eagle with olive branches and arrows on a domed 'Temple of Liberty', flanked by flags, with a farm vignette of a man ploughing between two cornucopias. Tells: the slogan 'Free Soil.-Free Labor.-Free Speech.' (virtue words as the message) and the eagle, flags and temple lent to the ticket (transfer).
