# Viet Nam and the Fight Against Communism (pamphlet for the Manila anti-Communist league conference), contents page

The contents page of an English-language pamphlet produced for the March 1956 Manila conference of the Asian Peoples Anti-Communist League lists four sections, ending with 'A grandiose anti-Communist demonstration', in which 'two thousand ex-Communists swore to break with the Party and tore up the Red flag'. The tell: a mass defection and a public flag-tearing are presented as the pamphlet's closing evidence of momentum.
